Peppers would certainly take some pressure off of Urlacher.

The Carolina Panthers cut QB Jake Delhomme after his worst NFL season.

The New Orleans Saints cut DE Charles Grant.

The Washington Redskins re-sign Center Casey Rabach for 3 years, $12.3 million.

The San Diego Chargers trade CB Antonio Cromartie to the New York Jets for a 2011 Draft Pick.

The San Diego Chargers now look to possibly keep RB Darren Sproles after previously saying they'd let him test Free Agency. They tendered him with First Round and Third Round picks.

The Washington Redskins went buckwild in releases. They released QB Todd Collins, RB Rock Cartwright, RB Ladell Betts, CB Fred Smoot, WR Antwaan Randle El, Guard Randy Thomas, and Defensive Tackle Cornelius Griffin.

The Giants, Cardinals, Dolphins and Bears are all trying to sign DB Antrel Rolle.

Not much new on the Donovan McNabb front. The Eagles front office want to trade him, Andy Reid does not. The St. Louis Rams were the latest team with their name attached to trade for McNabb but they claim it's false.

Nate Burleson signed a $25 million, five year contract with the Detroit Lions.

I'm calling it right now. Thomas Jones. New England Patriots. Book it.

AJ Feeley is an amazing case. The dude only started 3 games at Oregon and was a career college backup, yet has managed to last longer than any of our star Quarterbacks, including the guys he backed up, Akili Smith and Joey Harrington.

All that time riding the bench in college just made him hungrier when he got the pros. I can respect those types of players that get their shot at the big time and play every game like they have nothing to lose. As for something else that happened the football world, 'Skins offensive lineman Chris Samuels retired last Thursday due to advice from doctors stemming from an injury he sustained last season. Year in and year out, he was a solid contributor as you knew he was going to give everything he had when he set foot on the field.

Derek Anderson is backpeddling on some remarks that he made about Cleveland Browns fans after the team cut him. He took back the "ruthless" remark he made about them cheering him when he was injured during the 08-09 season. He also said he wishes that he gets picked up by a team and gets a chance to play the Browns.

I wouldn't have taken it back. Fuck every Browns fan that cheered him when he injured his leg. I said it then, and I'll say it again...those fans that cheered are completely classless and don't deserve a winning team.

You all should just be happy that someone is willing to admit their real name on a Ducks board. I heard that the majority of them are scared to admit they're fans due to retribution at work. Smile

LaDainian Tomlinson signed a two year deal with the New York Jets.

The 'Skins signed Larry Johnson..........the logic behind this deal I'm not sure but I hope this does something to help us next season. As for the Browns seems like they wanna try the re-building process again by possibly taking another QB in the upcoming draft. How about some WRs first.........

Stund you would appreciate what I got to see this weekend. My brother won a skybox for a Redskins game nearest to or at Chicago and is going to dinner with Phillip Daniels. The dude is huge, but one of the nicest people in the world.

That's whats up.........

In other news, the Eagles traded Donovan McNabb to the Skins for a second round pick (37th overall) in this years draft and a 3rd or 4th round pick in 2011. Jason Campbell reportedly didn't hear about the trade until a reporter told him this morning which tells me that he's about as good as gone. I'm not calling for an instant improvement, but when we do trade away Campbell I would like to see us go for a Wide Receiver. On top of all that, Sam Bradford is still scheduled to meet with the team sometime this week...............

The 'Skins are looking impressive on paper.. key word... PAPER!

Now about the draft...

-1-3rd picks... DUH!
-Jacksonville; "LA... this is the Jags... yeah we're looking to move... no not move in the draft... who would the fans in California like to see?"
-Denver; thank you soooooooo much for taking Tiebow, now I don't have to worry about my Vikings drafting him.

Best line of the night (KFAN in Minneapolis); what the hell was Jacksonville thinking? Taking a guy who's projected to still be there in round 3? I mean... who is this Troy... Ma-nu-ma-nu "the slender" doin his "I'm gonna get me some poi" dance?

So much going on it's hard to know where to start.......

The 'Skins are reportedly going to meet with free agent RB Brian Westbrook this week. Brian Cushing tested positive for a banned substance early last season and his appeal he had running all season got dropped which resulted in him getting suspended for the first four games of next season. They instituted a re-vote for his Defensive Rookie of the Year; which he ended up retaining......I guess they looked into the fact that he actually did better AFTER the positive test last season.

The Raiders released QB JaMarcus Russell after three years of futility. I saw this coming after they acquired Jason Campbell from us. How much do you wanna bet that Campbell blows up and becomes what we thought he would become in Washington like so many others...............

Gale Sayers made a couple comments about the Bears and Brian Urlacher got his panties in a bunge. Now the former Bears: Waddle, Hampton, Ditka, and others are backing Sayers and telling Brian to stop worrying about what people are saying, instead worry about getting healthy and getting the Bears better since the Packers and Vikings are both better teams.
