that was last year though Mal, it's not like I can hang a Big-10 hat on the fact that they won the first two (not sure if they won a 3rd) Conf. Bowl challenge (best winning percentage of conf. with at least 4 teams in bowls.)
Besides, Im just giving the Pac-10 shit because of the "west coast" bias that goes on in the polls (yes there is also an east coast and mid-west bias.. but this year the Pac-10 was terrible compaired to the other conf.) |

I am sorry, but Pac 10 football is USC and sometimes Oregon and a bunch of mediocre or bad programs, like SEC basketballl, Kentucky or Florida, and a unch of mediocre or bad program, well the SEC is a bit better in basketball than the Pac 10 is in football.
Really though, my problem is that the Pac 10 follows a bowl season, with very bad ones. The Rose Bowl victories were basically all USC, and correct me if I am wrong, but the only Pac 10 team to win a BCS game this past decade outside of USC was Oregon.
But hey, at least the Pac 10 isn't as bad as the ACC or Big East. _________________ The truth is, the dawgfunk has returned |

They beat Notre Dame in the Fiesta Bowl.
Oregon beat Colorado in the Fiesta Bowl, lost to Ohio State in the Rose Bowl, and Washington beat Purdue in the Rose Bowl.
we all know about USCs BCS bowl history, and the fact they have lost 4 straight inside the state of Oregon! _________________
